South & West coasts

The South Coast of Sri Lanka consists of major beach attractions such as Bentota, Ahungalla, Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna, Weligama, Mirissa, Matara and Tangalle which have long been the heaven for tourists searching for the ideal beach holiday in Sri Lanka. Bentota is the Sri Lanka's water sports centre offering a wide range of water sports and stunning diving locations as well. Hikkaduwa is well famous for surfing, snorkelling and diving and also a long stretch of beach packed with restaurants serving fresh seafood. Unawatuna is a fishing village blessed with a beautiful sandy bay fringed with palm trees.
