Meeru Island Resort, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, is the only resort on the island of Meerufenfushi. Your speedboat transfer from Male' International Airport is a scenic, 55 minutes ride to this Eastern most resort island in the North Male' Atoll. Seaplane transfers are also available. Meeru offers casual atmosphere in a very natural setting, relax by the sea facing pool or for the more active there are a host of sports on offer. Winding walkways lined with palm trees lead you to the reception with its thatched roofing that blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings. Meeru offer you the Maldives, simply at its best. However there is nothing simple about the services they provide or the facilities available. All this is provided without pomp and formality. Meeru has one of the biggest dive schools in the country, and its remote location in Male' Atoll gives it access to many excellent dive sites that are hardly ever visited by any others.

All rooms feature tropical décor, a king size or two twin beds, tile or wood floors, private patio with furniture, air-conditioning, overhead ceiling fan, sitting area, stocked Mini Bar with refrigerator, tea/coffee machine, IDD telephone, color cable TV, personal safe, bathroom with hot water, shower, bath accessories, hair dryer, and nightly turndown service. Electricity is 220VAC, 50HZ. Also provided is complimentary use of chaise lounges at the pool and beach and beach towels.

At Farivalhu, all meals are buffet, with the menu changing every day. A comprehensive breakfast is available to fuel up divers for the day ahead. Lunch and dinner buffets offer a wide selection of different kinds of food, salads, pastas, meat and fish, as well as a good sweet and fresh fruit selection. The Maalan Restaurant is exclusively for guests staying at the northern end of the island (exclusively for guests 18 years and above). Hungaanu Coffee Shop offers a wide choice of snacks & is a relaxed place overlooking the sea and next to the swimming pool where light meals can be served while you're lazing by the water. The over-the-water Asian Wok Restaurant specializes in Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki. Hot Rock Restaurant & Bar provides an amazing dining experience by being yourself as the chef. Hot volcanic rocks are delivered to your table with your entrée. Hear the sizzle and smell the aroma of your meal cooking before your very eyes. The Goma, serving a menu of grilled specialties aboard a "restaurant" yacht anchored in the lagoon. Three other "optional" choices, Room Service and Private Dining in your room, and a selection of very special Dinners served on the Beach!
