Rooms

On Eriyadu all the rooms have been recently renovated to offer you the best in comfort and facilities. A very private, yet family atmosphere is felt as there are only 57 Superior rooms on the island. These rooms are decorated by the dancing shades of the palm trees surrounding the island. Relax on your personal veranda or enjoy a bath in the open air. Each room with their own deck area and face the sea with direct access to the beach. Rooms are simple but stylish and have air-conditioning with an overhead fan. The en-suite bathrooms have fresh hot and cold water, a shower and bathtub, hair-dryer, IDD telephone, a mini Bar, Satellite TV and safety deposit box. A laundry service is also available.

Dining

Eriyadu has one restaurant and one bar on the island. Set by the water's edge the restaurant offers a broad selection of local and international cuisine. Throughout the week there are themed nights where anything from Asian specialties to Italian dishes are served. Whether served as a sumptuous buffet, or from a la carte menus, there is always an excellent selection of freshly caught seafood, sizzling meats and vegetarian dishes to choose from. Dine beneath the moonlight…..fill your senses with the heady sound of crashing waves softly serenading your ears with its own cacophony of music while satiating one's desires with a scrumptious array of local & international cuisines. Main restaurant serves buffets with wide choice & menus changing daily. On special nights the chefs will serve grilled BBQ's out on the beach and the small coffee shop to one side of the restaurant offers light snacks during the day. Main bar is located adjoined to the restaurant where you can enjoy exotic cocktails.

Facilities and other features

Diving and snorkeling

Eriyadu has a great house reef that is very easily accessed making it perfect for snorkelling and diving. Eriyadu has an excellent Dive Center managed and run by Euro-Divers, and they offer a full range of PADI and CMAS courses, including specialty courses. They have full equipment available to hire, including computers and cameras. Eriyadu has some superb dive sites close by, including Finger Point. This is a famous shark dive in the Maldives where up to 50 Grey Reef Sharks have been seen on a single dive. Training is done in the sheltered lagoon and the house reef can be dived 24 hours a day. The dive centre runs a tank shuttle service to drop off and collect tanks for guest wishing to make independent dives and night dives can be made every night and at any time.

Sports & Activities

Eriyadu has many sporting facilities to offer. The water sports centre has Catamaran Sailing and Water skiing. On the island there is volleyball, a gymnasium, a badminton court and a games room, with table tennis and snooker.

Excursions & Entertainment

Eriyadu has great access to many islands and offers frequent Island-hopping excursions. There are trips to the uninhabited island of Olhahali, where you can enjoy a BBQ lunch on a remote beach and walk among the island's rich vegetation. The trip is combined with a visit to the local fishing island of Gaafaru, where you can experience the traditional Maldivian way of life and buy local souvenirs. The resort islands of Reethi Rah, Summer Island and Helengeli are not too far away and day trips can also be made to these islands, as well as visits to the bustling capital island of Male. On selected days there is the Sunset Cocktail Cruise, where you can sail around the island in the warm glow of the setting sun, sipping exotic local and international cocktails.
